We got this beautiful 12lb grass fed, grass finised brisket from Engle Family Farms via our friends @crowdcow 2 weeks ago to make some homemade Pastrami and Corned Beef. We cut it in half and then brined it for 10 Days with Pacific Flake Sea Salt, Pickling Spice from @spiceology, Brown Sugar, and Pink Salt #1. Some would think we are crazy to invest 2 weeks into making our own pastrami, but once you have had homemade, will will never want the processed stuff again! We buy our meats from #crowdcow as we like to know where our meats come from! 🔥🐮♥️⠀
